Not at all, slap Jake bugg in the mix ! Add a bit of up and coming as well as established an jobs a good un.

You champion the wind up birds and we are Augustine's, personally I'm more convinced by augustines than the birds . Tribes were excellent last year and it must be time to bring vintage trouble back to the main stage as well as king Charles.

Id like to see lanterns on the lake play chai wallahs, Taylor made for the stage. Well either that or the woodland but that's Maybes too small for em.

You'd also think that local favorites wild beasts must be due another appearance at some point as do semi local band, well a bit over the border anyway, frightened rabbit who were excellent last time I saw em.

Just checked the simple midst prices, £54 in Newcastle without booking fees or postage !

I think Jim Kerr must have read Lakelands comments about them being bigger than u2 and set his price list accordingly !!

Think I'll just hang on and see if they headline Sunday at Kendal next year instead !

I take it back, the £54 includes the booking fee, still looking at 60 notes with postage tho. like I said, I'll wait an see if they play Kendal on Sunday night. Assuming Jim isn't medically retired after being twatted by a pair of hefty lake district wooly underpants in Carlisle

No worries on that front although I wouldn`t wear an England top ! If we start in the Horseshoe at opening time then you may not need to pretend to be mute. We had to walk for an hour and a half before we could get a taxi at Heaton Park but Glasgow Green is well handy for hotels etc. Already nervous about tickets on Friday...

So we now know that Primal Scream and Jake Bugg will be playing live shows in the UK next summer. Ocean Colour Scene will also be on the road ( aren`t they always ) not to mention Bon Jovi cool.png

I know it`s early but anyone else we can rule in our out for Kendal ?
