At that time of night at a festival, I can barely get me wellies off.

I'm looking at the footage of the mud on the tv now and trust me they don't do it justice, the whole place was a swamp, mud in the main arena was up to 4ft deep, there wasn't a single place you could stand without standing in the stuff it absolutely pissed it down the entire day on Saturday.

Still though there were some highlights, stone roses were great (if you are a fan) and I thought Ben Howard was brilliant even though somebody threw a pint of beer at him whilst he was mid set....my first ever t in the park and it would take an astonishing line up to make me ever go back, the place is a fucking health and safety risk.

When Elbow played at Leeds last year, it had been pissing down all day and it added to the atmosphere because everyone was soaked and just didn't give a fuck anymore.

The crowd at T just don't appreciate good music.

Fair play to the crowd for Kasabian though, lashing down with rain again and still going for it!!! Did make me miss the whole festival thing when i saw that. (Doing Reading And Bestival this year so got to wait...but i spose I got blur before that:D)

Last time I went to T was 2008. It's been Glasto ever since!

I really enjoyed the earlier Ts, but the line up got more and more repetitive (Kasabian, Snow Patrol, Killers, King of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs...) with all this dancey pop thrown in alongside a chav-ier audience.

I've heard horror stories from this year, my mate had a Sunday day ticket and his day started on the bus over from Edinburgh with a girl tanking a bag of wine before trying to urinate in a sandwich bag. The inevitable stream of urine flowing up and down the bus soaked someone's jacket as the girl shouted from the back "I've had two wee ains, my bladder isnae what it used tae be!". Classy! He then witnessed a bit of a punch up during Chase & Status as people were dragged in to mosh pits and ended up in the mud. Sounded like the festival apocolypse.

Never thought Elbow were a band for T, I could just imagine lots of wee radges waiting at the front for Kasabian shouting "here we, here we, here we effin go".

LATITUDE: Thunder forecasted in latest Latitude weather update

Sun, showers and thunder has been forecasted for the next four days in the latest weather update for the Latitude festival.

People are advised to pack their wellies and waterproofs in preparation for heavy bursts of rain on Friday and Saturday – including heavy showers and thunder on Friday night.

But today and Sunday are set to be the driest days of the festival, with 20pc to 30pc chance of an isolated shower on the last day.

Giving his forecast for Latitude festival, Dan Holley of Weatherquest, said: “For the rest of the day it is going to be dry with some sunshine, patches of cloud continuing through until this evening when rain is expected about 9pm or 10pm tonight.

“Rain will continue on and off for the rest of the night and Friday morning as well.

“It will be cloudy on Friday with outbreaks of rain. There will be heavy showers and thunder in the afternoon and overnight.

“On Saturday, the rain will break up into showers, with a quite a lot of cloud and heavy showers.

“Sunday will be the driest day with 20pc to 30pc chance of an isolated shower.”

although wiki says excessive alcohol consumption can cause vertigo like symptoms..

I was at T and i was watching Elbow being a quite big fan and i thought it was depressing, the mud, the atmosphere everything. They do not suit being in the rain.

Anything in the rain is just dispiriting for me. Ian could never really do the big gigs being epileptic etc.
