Not what was spouted here.

People don't seem to think you can be favoured by muslim people and be for equal rights. I think that's all of your problems and not Mr Galloways.

You guys are all older? Might be an age thing.

Oh do feck off. ;)

Much of what's been said here is without any doubt true.

None of what anyone here has condemned him for touched on the subject of muslims or equal rights. If any of us had any problems with that we'd no doubt have said.

So the problem is all yours.

Must be a youth thing. ;)

The anti-abortion myth was created by the right as Mr Galloway has a large Islamic support, and they don't seem to think you can be active in Islam but still support human rights.

People on this board seem to now think that to be true, which is quite depressing.

Galloway is anti-abortion. You can read it in his own words here, in that right-wing mag The Guardian....

http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2005/apr/17/uk.immigration

In the past he's expressed his views about abortion in an abhorent manner.

What was trolling about that? I'm starting to think that's your standard response to avoid debate? You seem to struggle with the fact that not everyone, even those on the left, think Galloway is quite the messiah you think he is. You then have the audacity to accuse them of being ignorant towards Islam. You're starting to sound just like the c*nt himself.

Tony has a valid point, Ice Cream and Abortion are not in the same ball park. One is a cold desert mostly enjoyed on a warm summers day, the other is the termination of a pregnancy ... I usually wouldn't have to spell this out to people, but in your case I think this needs pointing out. You're argument is the kind I'd expect from a 7 years old.

Not realy. I explained why you can perhaps be personally against abortion but still happy for people to have the choice if they want to have it or not. Tony couldn't understand that so I simplified it by using an example of something else. Tony then questioned that than the actual topic which made me suspicious he was looking for an internet argument which I can't realy be arsed with. Apologise to him if that is not the case.

I didn't set up a thread for debate either, so if I chose to not take anything too seriously well, that's my choice. Sorry if my actions do not fit your internet rule book.

    • Stadium gig/s 100% 2027.   As for the offer - dunno what to think. The source is very well placed and, to me, the timing checks out - I'm basing that on the stadium gigs coming after an arena tour... coming after a new record... following a record that propelled them to the next level.   As I keep saying with any info I've shared for Glastonbury next year, though, none of it feels nailed to me.    I assume that they're doing a half decent job of keeping things quiet (still early, I guess). It's all little bits of stuff doing the rounds in the industry. There's none of it that I'd hang my hat on right now. The bits I've shared - I thought they were worth sharing, given the source. Chat about Madonna, the Fontaines snippet, chat about Fender.    A gun to my head right now - Madonna would still be my number one bet. More of a gut feeling, but I feel like the recent doubt may be the festival and/or her people trying to calm the noise a bit after the Graham Norton slip, rather than a u-turn.
    • Have settlers people started receiving their car park passes? I was sure I had bought one, but cant find a receipt for it and nothing through the post yet.
    • @northernangel Are Wolf Alice not in the conversation? They just did a sold out Finsbury Park to 45,000 people, if they're ever gonna get the push it's now.
