Blink postponed their last UK tour for a year. Would be pretty cool if they still didn't have their shit together in time and had to pull out. They pulled out of T didn't they?

Then again knowing r&l, they would probably just bump up Macklemore and give them their "First EVER headline performance ANYWHERE"

According to the clashfinder, none of the stages are finishing early this year. Have they gone back to all stages finishing at the same time?

Has this been confirmed somewhere?

At the moment we know for sure that Pendulum on the dance stage are finishing before Nero on the NME, and with the amount of acts they've announced it fits so I've put it in.

There are others that will probably finish early such as JEW against QOTSA (because of Brody Dalle) and Bands of Skulls against Arctics (because they said so). However, especially with the later it's hard to figure out how that's going to work- Band of Skulls day on the FR seems quite full for a 20:00 finish.

For everything else I've just assumed they'll be finishing normal time

Blink dropping out could be the worst thing. They might find a replacement but at short notice they would be hard pressed to find one or they could give Macklemore the bump to headline which is possibly the worst thing imaginable

Is there anywhere I can find the 2013 stage times? I can find when they start but not when acts where scheduled to finish

R&L only ever had when set times started on their websites and in their programme if I remember correctly. You'll just have to give it a rough guess. I do know the wait between the subs and headliner is around 50 mins

    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
    • Ultimately Glasto is just part of the festival circuit, however special we may think it is. The vast majority of its headliners have done many others
    • From Magyar’s FB:   ”Our country's energy and water supply is stable. As of today, voluntary consumption reduction is no longer necessary. The turbine at the Paks power plant is generating stably. Thanks to precipitation in Austria, the water level of the Danube will temporarily rise by 20–30 centimeters. Thank you, Hungary, for the unprecedented national unity shown in recent days! We have much to be proud of, and much to carry forward into the period ahead.”
    • I hope it stays under £400.  A lot of us aren't flush with cash.  Charities are great but do they need £1 mil (I jest)
