So if we are going by the way they are listed it looks like dance will be third biggest stage followed by 1xtra, lock up then festival republic.

I wonder if that'll be how it works. Would live to know how they will fit everything in. I reckon leeds will make the existing late night areas into the new dance and one extra stage, all others in their normal positions.

What I have noticed is there haven't been many bands announced yet that played 2012. Baring in mind benn said he wants to reward bands that did well, who do we think he meant that could still play? Still hoping for the hives. Think pure love and billy talent could squeeze somewhere too

This is completely irrelevant, but Depehce Mode announced their north american tour today (before the announcement) and are in the US the R&L weekend so we'd have been able to rule them out had we not found the leak.

On a side not, I still can't get over how easy that press release was to access

This is completely irrelevant, but Depehce Mode announced their north american tour today (before the announcement) and are in the US the R&L weekend so we'd have been able to rule them out had we not found the leak.

Fingers crossed in time, the way I see it now, both Saturday and Sunday have bands that could be moved about abit. The hives would suit 5th or 6th (maybe 7th), and feeder....well who knows. I doubt they'll be there.

I am mixed. I think 4th for Lumineers is way too high for example however Editors lower than 5th? That would seem so wrong.

Yeah, I would have hoped editors 4th, hives 5th, and lumineers 6th - I mean come on, they have 1 song people know and will still be able to do a jolly acoustic set in the sun.

If Dizzee has actually self confirmed (don't know where people have got that idea), I could see him playing 3rd Saturday and everyone moving their asses Daaoowwwn!
