If Shikari play next year, I think it would be the the last chance they would get to headline NME.

They've said that they'll be in the studio in the latter part of next year which would hopefully mean a new album early 2014. And I think with another album under their belt as successful as AFFOC they would be pushing up toward a sub slot. Just personal opinion.

They seem to be one of these trendy bands that play music for people who like popular things rather than the music. The sort of people who would watch the likes of Foals over bands that will actually be remembered when they're gone like Black Sabbath, the sort of people who were responsible for FNM playing to an empty tent. The sort of people who allow Mumford and Sons not only to exist, but to succeed despite lacking any discernible musical ability.

I refer of course to the fucking hipsters.

He met someone from the band in a bar or something, it's in here somewhere or in a thread in the Glasto section (maybe both). Tie that in with the fact that efestivals have heard from another reputable source that they're doing Glasto and it's swinging that way instead of R&L.
