Even the band said when they announced the dates last year that everyone would be sick of the sight of them after touring the uk. :P

Maybe you should email that comment to Dave Grohl. :D

I'm not so sure Soni did sell out? You could defo buy tickets right upto the festival.

And with regards to festivals saying they have fantastic headliners. They all do it, but then they're not goign to say. We have shit headliners, don't attend our festival are they

Muse

Other crap.

That's not to say I think any of them are likely, I'm saying there's more bands out there than people think there actually is.

No idea why as nothing has been said, it makes no sense to me for Sonisphere to wait until after Download make there next announcement on the 16th as if the undercard is good, lots of people who can only afford to go to one of the festivals are going invest in a Download ticket?

I guess it is down to when the headliners they have booked allowing them to make the announcement?

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
