I think its something we will probably never agree on. Its harder to score away from home, at 2-1 chelsea had scored 1 and barcelona hadnt. Its also harder to defend away from home, then at home. At 2-1 Barcas defence had concded 1 goals at staford bridge while chelseas defence had conceded 2 goal at the nou camp. To me both situations even themselves out and a draw is a draw and should be treated as a draw. Thats not my opinion because it has effected a team I enjoy watching, I have always found the rule unfair and always argued the case.

Shame that clip doesn't have the ten seconds before the start. That was a great move by Torres even if it was an easy goal - he saw it was on and sprinted up the pitch to be ready to get the ball.

Fair play to Chelsea. Barca were the clearly better team in both matches, and you've got to ride your luck and take your chances when you get them if you're going to win games like those. They did both.

I'm wetting myself at Terry's excuse for being sent off before he'd seen it played back. Even he's not so stupid to think that excuse is believable if he'd have seen the pictures. Prick.

And I reckon he might have just succeeded in ensuring that he gets found guilty when he's up before the beak in July as a result. Who's going to believe any excuse he might give over anything that unclear from the evidence now?

Have heard a few people on the radio today say barca were the better team but chelsea had the better tactics. I dont think there was anything wrong with peps tactics it created enough chances to win the game.

Nah, Chelsea didn't have the better tactics, they only had tactics that they got lucky with. Actually, VERY lucky with, as to get that luck over two games is very unusual.

Barca had lots of great chances to score (great chances don't get better than a penalty, for instance) but didn't make them count in either game - that was nothing to do with Chelsea's tactics, it just didn't run right for Barca.

Meanwhile Chelsea had very few chances but they managed to take the chances they got. If Chelsea always scored with chances like that then I guess you could say they won with better tactics but they don't usually always score with every chance so it ends up being just how the luck runs sometimes.

Thought CHelsea did fantastically last night once down to 10 men. Not at all pretty to watch, but impressive how well they stuck to their tasks. Was very dissappointed with Barca. Bar the penalty they never really created a clear cut opportunity in the second half. As others have said their team looks dead on their feet, a real shame.

On another note, it looks like agent McLiesh could well take Villa down. His appointment must go down as one of the worst ever. How on earth did he get that job?
