I can understand why Liverpool don't want to play their semi on the Sunday. However I'm not sure its fair forcing chelsea to play Sunday with a champions league match possibly on the Tuesday. Is it right that chelsea should be disadvantaged to accommodate Liverpools desire not to play on the date of hillsborough? I feel that chelsea should take priority for the Saturday game and move the Liverpool one to another date if they don't want the Sunday.

Bit of a daft argument about liverpool fans travelling down to wembley, they have as many glory hunter fans around the country as united. Im sure everton fans would love a day out at wembley.

It hasn't been created solely by money. No clubs success ever has. But that's not the point

OK, I was perhaps just a little off with that.

But there's no difference on the money front with City's attempt to buy success. Any difference between the two club's success at this point is down to the manager's - there's no difference on the money front apart from City having had a recent injection and trying to do it quickly. Where both teams are in the league is more to do with money than it is any other factor.

This morning was a nightmare!

Multiple open windows and the time out due to high demand - meant multiple purcheses on differenet regs - and a slow system trying desperately to cancel ordered tickets to get down to three - 50 minutes later got down to just 3 - one on my, my wife and daughter's registration numbers - only to find I don't have the required home ticket stubs! gutted!

forget buying glasto tix that was way more stressful - I'm sweating cobs!

Anyone a STH with the required stubs - in the coming days - able to buy me 3 on my numbers? Pm me if so!

I've just read the beeb's report of it, and it sounds like it's something caused by another player in training - which happens of course.

It's defo looking like the title is Utd's to lose now.

I've just had a look at the Arse's fixures, and only the City and Chjelsea games look like real toughies for them, tho they're at home for both of those. They've got a few away ties that might prove tricky for various reasons, but with them on form they're looking good for 3rd.

Looking at Chelsea's fixtures, Spurs should be good for 4th .... then again, their form has fallen off a cliff, so who knows.

Didn't Tommy Smith miss a European Cup final because he dropped a sledgehammer on his foot?

Is it definitely a foot one? When I heard Mancini wouldn't disclose it I wondered if it was something embarrassing, like when that French player missed a game in the WC through piles.

because, as The Nal pointed out, and had me correct myself, it's not the only factor.

Who was the last 'un-moneyed' club to win the league? The Prem has never been won by an un-moneyed club, and off the top of my head I'd guess at it being Forest in the late 70s (tho perhaps my memories are wrong).

So, we have moneyed clubs, and we have 'top managers'. The facts get to prove that top managers don't always win the league but that moneyed clubs always win the league.

So money is the most important factor. As City gets to prove and others proved before them, money is a guarantee of nothing - but it's very definitely a pre-requisite in today's game.
