I'm hoping to go but am not massively optimistic about getting tickets in pre sale or otherwise! Wanted to see pulp for ages but Didn't go up to park as elbow/pulp was worst clash for me so made a judgement call based on how crowded I guessed it'd be. The wrong decision I think! Ah well hopefully a trip to brixton will make up for it!!

Yes, incredible at Wireless! Got a day ticket for Leeds now too and I'm going to try for Brixton in the morning.

I cried my heart out to Bar Italia, my favourite track from Different Class...still would have liked Like a Friend and Acrylic Afternoons again like!

I love them with all my heart

I'm on holiday when they play Brixton. Gutted. Still hoping for a Sheffield gig before they call it a day, if they do.

Yeah - would absolutely agree. We were stood stage side of the tower, and the sound wasn't good at all. Can't imagine that those on the hill heard much at all. I guess thats part of the Surprise gig thing. And yeah, apart from that little gripe, they were GENIUS. Common people was my best festival moment...

I'm holding out on some other gigs being announced further North.

Was supposed to be going to Leeds for the day, but mate's accomodation has fell through and what will cost £200 for a day ticket, travel and accomodation is far too much for one day especially, before any food, drinks etc

:(

Tried to get tickets this morning through the Pulp early link but they sold out as I was filling in the form.... had I known that was the situation, I'd have typed a bit faster! Crazy.

Fingers crossed for Friday morning.... mind you, I have now seen them twice in as many months so maybe it's time to let someone else have a turn........:ph34r:

    • Crikey.   I remember Muse cancelling a Lolla headline set in 2017 due to a massive thunderstorm after only 3 songs. Clearly this is an area of the world where the storms don't f**k around.
    • I still think they might take another shot at the normal weekend.    I'm also pretty sure this exact same speculation was happening after the last one.
    • Meanwhile in Chicago. Rained overnight at Lolla. Now they pushed back opening til the afternoon. But thunderstorms and lightning forecast. Maybe if the city invested in proper drainage they couldve tried to salvage the day.
    • Wasn't just me who thought it was either oversold or inadequately setup for the event then? For Pride, over the weekend, where there's also acts in the large blue marquee that was to the right of the "arena" (for want of a better term), it's probably much better as people are dispersed more. Thought the band were great, as was Nick, though he was clearly struggling with his voice at times.
    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
