Seeing Pulp was the highlight of the festival for me. We went to see Radiohead the day before at the Park and had to leave because we couldn't see of hear them. We got in a fairly good position for Pulp - I could see them on tiptoes, but at least we could hear them.

What an amazing crowd to be in! When we were all singing Common People, I think it was THE moment of the whole weekend.

Pulp were fantastic!!

Got there about 30 mins before and walked upto the front (about 3 / 4 deep). Looked around just before they came on and saw what must have been 10,000 people

I've been thinking and I think that this might be my favourite Glasto set of the 7 festivals that I've been to.

It was sensational; Jarvis Cocker was on top form (which is scarily good when your normal form is as good as his)

There were at least 5 songs where I thought; "My God, that's the best performance I've seen all weekend"

On a wider note I watched U2, Radiohead, Coldplay and Pulp in two days; bite my shiny metal ass corporate super festivals..!

I hate to throw a negative into the mix, but I did feel it was rather ludicrous to have Pulp appear at Glastonbury as 'special guests' when they could just as easily have appeared on one of the bigger stages and pleased a lot more people! After all they are hardly an exclusive at this summers festivals - Radiohead on the other hand aren't scheduled to appear anywhere.

I thought the whole point of the Special Guest slot was to surprise people with an act you couldn't possibly see anywhere else. Seems a bit of a cheat really if a standard slot would have raised no eyebrows...

Unbelievably good! After Radiohead on Friday, no matter how likely I thought it would be that Pulp would play, I didn't think they could give me that much delight in two days. When I first got in the field as well I couldn't see a thing, so when the beatboxing announcer man came on, people in my area could only hear him. For a mere moment I thought it was going to be him and I was so let down!

Babies was incredible, as was his speech before Common People. Shed a little tear.

My group got to The Park 2 sets early in order to ensure a place for Pulp after seeing it confirmed on NME website ; they had called Radiohead the previous day so saw no reason to not believe them.

Very glad we turned up early now. We got in and stood about 25 yards from the front - on the sloped bank ; and had an absolutely perfect view. Met a great bunch of people all around me and while it was busy, I wouldn't describe it as "rammed" - they must have closed The Park fairly early on to avoid a crush as I am sure half the site would have known the identity of the special guests.

Jarvis has a fantastic stage presence and rapport with the audience - his performance was very professional and effortless. Best set of the festival by an absolute country mile.

Pulp were amazing. Clear highlight of the weekend.

Tame Impala on the other hand were one of the worst acts I've ever witnessed. They got a fraction better right at the end but the first half an hour was like watching a few school kids trying to play some 60's songs in class. Inept guitar playing, no stage presence and couldn't hear a thing that the singer was saying. Probably a good thing.

Hopefully that's it for secret guests at the park, they'll never beat this year's and it makes the whole area isn't set up for the numbers of people that turn up.

One of the best experiences of my life. It was utterly amazing, with some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and I had a great view, and I was surrounded by very, VERY understanding people as I am an uber-fan and pretty much sang the whole way through the set as well as talking to Jarve at his every Southern-Yorkshire utterance.

Cried through Sunrise and Something Changed, song of the gig being Acrylic Afternoons which I never saw them play when I saw them last, which was well over seven years ago but believe me, my headboard is still going for you Jarve! x

It was a lucky break for me. I was up at the Park to watch Graham Coxon. I didn't have any plan to hunt out what the special guests were, but I happened to be next to the sound desk when someone asked, and overheard them say it was "probably" Pulp.

So we hung around at the Park for the rest of the afternoon. Missed Battles, but it was probably worth it.

Great set, although not set of the festival for me -- that would be The Joy Formidable!

To be honest, given all the stories of people complaining about people at the Pyramid or the Other, often not looking bothered about being seeing whoever they were seeing, it was a bit of a blessing this was on the Park Stage. Yeah, the majority didn't get a good view, but you were surrounded people who wanted to see a reformed Pulp

Pulp where the highlight for me, I think I enjoyed it a lot more on the park than I would have on the Pyramid Stage as funnily enough I had a much better view (there was quite a bit of room down the left hand side) Loved it when he dipped into has carrier bag and pulled out a couple of frisbees along with as he put it an ix (singular version of a twix)
