Why about Sly and the Family Stone?

I'd love to see them - but about 30 years ago when Sly was still all there.

Somehow I can';t see them being at Glastonbury any time soon. By-chance I caused Martin Elbourne (the main Glasto booker) to book them for Lovebox five or so years ago. I think it probably says a lot about them that they've not popped up at Glasto since then.

Lol. Pink Floyd's lyrics are not 'the worst kind of 6th form poetry', they are amazing, thought provoking, capable of stirring ones emotions. They are just amazing. I know I am hugely biased but I don't think you could say what you just have about their lyrics. Waters is a lyrical genius!
