well, I never once mentioned Miserable as I 'understand' him too, but this performance was just dire. He just wasn't interested. Thats not witty or entertaining.

I understand some people adore him and can't hear a bad word said about him but take it from a lifelong fan and someone who has seen him many times live, this was pants

His moaning about getting off for U2 got very tiring. 57 minutes is pathetic. Slagging his home town of Manchester off. Going through the motions whilst singing. Not finishing off There Is A Light. A really, and I mean REALLY crap version of This Charming Man.

f**k off Morrissey, you're shitting on my youthful memories. Retire disgracefully. I can deal with your rants in the press as I don't read any, but when you're playing live, make an effort for the people who take the time and effort to come and watch you play. In other words, be professional.

The worst of my 26 artists I got to watch BY FAR.

Very disappointed but maybe it was to be expected

Some bellend threw a firework/flare into the crowd on the LHS of the stage (you can see it on the iPlayer while he's playing Alma Matters) and it hit my brother's girlfriend in the face.

There are no words for how stupid and dangerous it was.

Luckily her jacket hood was up and took the full brunt of it or she could have been scarred for life, blinded or worse.

"We did well, but the rain was bitingly cold and the audience were soaked and covered in wet mud and it was dark and dismal and every time I opened my mouth I swallowed rain," he said. Besides, the crowd was "understandably" just waiting for U2 who had "an enormous Star Wars set with drumsticks that light up northern Africa, and a sound system that would drown out an earthquake", Morrissey said. "I can't compete with that."

I thought he was OK considering the weather and the perennial problem with seeing Morrissey live re. his band being far too shit to get anywhere near the Smiths stuff, and his solo stuff being of much poorer quality.

The miserable mood is to be expected, the only time I've seen him in a good mood at a festival was V2006 when coincidentally he was headlining

I thought it was great. I managed to get to the front so had a good view for once, thought the set was good apart from the unfinished songs which were slightly annoying. Meat is Murder was an odd choice for a festival set but it seemed to work nonetheless. As far as his mood goes, he didn't seem that bad really, I'd be confused if he was bouncing off the walls.

If it's any consolation, I happen to know that the lad who threw the smoke bomb was definitely collared by the police.

We were stood right next to them and they seemed pretty innocuous, then from nowhere, one of them pulled the pin on a smoke bomb and launched it into the crowd before legging it. It happened so fast that nobody had time to grab him and everyone around was really shocked.

However, when me and my missus made an early exit to catch Mumford and Sons, we saw the lad up against the fence with two policeman around him, so I can only hope that someone either reported him or, better still, tackled him and gave him a clip.

Glad to hear that no-one was seriously injured - only wish I'd caught the little arsehole myself.
