Kiss have said they're gunna be doing UK shows this year

Rage, theres just a lot of people saying them, they've been working on a new album but no-one knows how far along it is. They've been on it since 2010 though. They'll be back at some point surely

Well, it'll probably be more difficult for them to do that next year, when the owner of the awards isn't working for Soni. Next year the best festival will probably be a RFID wristband.

No later than last year, so far. First announcement last year was 3rd December

im really hoping this years lineup is a cracker as i missed out last year i think the headliners will be, RHCP Rush & Tool (if they dont headline download) but thats a complete guess

I have a feeling Van Halen will be pulled out of the bag once the Metallica and Black Sabbath headlining Download dies down a bit.

They did, they were gonna announce all 3 headliners at the same time but they decide to announce Slipknot a few days early to counter Downlaod's announcement, Biffy was when the original announcement was due and the Big 4 was delayed as one of them started playing up, probably Dave Mustaine as he's a dick.

And Soundgarden keep coming up and i don't mean to start the timeless debate of are they big enough/relevant enough to headline but subbing or headlining 2nd is a high as they deserve imo.

I think it all depends on if VH do, as some quarters are rumouring, appear at the Grammys on 30th November with Wolgang on bass.

Maybe that's why AC was so angry at your story about them not playing Download.......

I'm thinking it will be Rush RATM/Soundgarden and Kiss now.

It could be.

Rush (Classic - Euro Exclusive), RATM/Soundgarden (All rounder - also at least UK Exclusive), Kiss (Classic - only think that makes me wonder these even now is they have said 100 cities dates next year. It could well be a World and Euro Arena Tour.

Could they have RATM and SG headline different days?

i think they will have to announce something big soon! and know doubt they will, they have to keep up with download somehow !
