if they have got van halen, lets just say if? i can't see maybe a cheeky announcement half hour before sabbath are announced. no it won't be as good but it'll be a kick in the balls for coppings favourite band.

I don't think they care about announcing just after tallica as they had the big four last year and it's like oh, you got who we had, i know it's the black album but they got the big 4.

Ok, I have it on very good authority that ......

Download headliners will be Metallica, Sabbath and Muse

Sonisphere will have RUSH (fan-bloody-tastic), Van Halen and Kiss

I've already got Sonisphere tickets and reckon it could be the best yet .... Download? depends what the 'supporting' bands are, if they have any money left!

I seriously doubt Sonisphere will have three classic headliners. Its not really their style.

I reckon it will be, as in top two Apollo and the Saturn Headliner between them

Friday

Apollo- KISS

Saturn-Trivum

Apollo- Marilyn Manson

Saturday

Apollo- Rage Against The Machine

Saturn- Soundgarden

Apollo- Smashing Pumpkins

Sunday

Apollo- Blink 182

Saturn- Offspring

Apollo- Lostprophets

    • I'm not a Bond fan or anything, just a fella who will happily sit and watch a Bond film - so from that perspective I will say that Brosnan is my favourite, I really love all the ones he has done and can quite happily watch them over and over.   favourite individual film tho is On Her Majesty's Secret Service.   absolutely hate the Dalton ones - I used to think it was just the way he chose to play the character, for some reason he thought Bond should be a thoroughly unlikable person. but actually, Dalton plays this exact same character in every single thing I have ever seem him in... so I think he is either just a properly sh*t actor, or maybe he himself is just a thoroughly unlikable person.   dont really have any interest in any future ones tho... didnt really like the Craig ones.
    • Next year's dates: 3. - 5. June 2027.
    • Fair enough but Im surprised what you say about the acts. I dont see who they could realistically have booked to make it better than the lineup they had.   And Im curious about your cryptic last comment. Locals get in for free?!
    • Non of those three are stadiums bands and Slipknot/Maiden have both been booked for Download more times than any of other headliners, I wouldn't say that trio feels big or expensive, it's a solid realistic trio
