fun loving criminals could be a shout, they were rumoured for ages and apprently mentioned that they were playing....I'd be pleased with that. not long till we all find out.

If it is toploader.....I cannot be responsible for my actions!!

Arctic Monkeys Friday

Pulp Saturday

Yes it's the usual, I have now been told this by many people, but I will be there both nights to be on the safe side. :)

Right, this is a bit tenuous I know, but this is what I heard. My girlfriend works with a guy who has been good friends for years with one of the musicians playing on the Leftfield stage, who himself is a good friend of Billy Bragg. He reckons that Pulp are definitely playing, but doesn't know if it's Friday or Saturday.

music ind' buzz this week is that it will be radiohead friday and pulp sat. hard to believe that Radiohead will take the same slot as thom and johnny took last year. but the source is reliable. Pulp have been nailed on for sometime. perhaps it will be a one off super group as in 07 with the africa express/damon thing. did any of you hear about ME at the southbank last week? there was a thread going.

Emily Eavis on NME.com today:

Jonny Greenwood and Thom Yorke popped up last year. We’ve heard a rumour they’re returning with Radiohead…

“I swear I have heard every rumour – even that Led Zeppelin are playing! We do have a special guest on the Park Stage that’s a really big thing for us. It’s a band who could potentially be headlining. I don’t want to big it up too much or we might have to close the field again!”

    • I saw this just after it was posted yesterday, I barely paid attention to it. I didn't realise it had blown up in the way it has. I'm sure (kind of) that Sziget will be unaffected - it brings in billions of huf over a very short period. Its consumption, compared to the rest of Budapest, will be tiny in reality. That said, nothing wrong with encouraging people to use less energy whether it's now or in the future.
