Slightly more than what I last heard, but still f**king dreadful, nowhere near 11 million.

Probably started using it for psycological warfare, worse than hearing sesame street a thousand times a day.

Arguments about who people 'want' rather than 'think' always descend into madness as it gives everyone free reign to come up with absurdly unrealistic line-ups (for this festival anyway, you might as well just have a dream festival thread and not connect it to R&L as most of the suggestions would never happen at R&L).

I don't think Kasabian are tight enough to headline big festivals. They seem to have omitted reason is reason from their set and miss the guy Karloff big time.

Soundgarden would be a big draw though

They were a big band back in the day, they're f**king awesome live and would do a headliner spot justice.

I mean come on they were bigger and better than MCR and if they're allowed to headline then why Sum41?

I went for Maiden, Metallica and SOAD even though I've seen/seeing 2 of them this year. I don't expect the headliners to be anything like that, I think Iron Maiden will be at Download next year. Possibly Slipknot if this experiment without Gray goes well.

I think people masively overjudge Soundgarden as a draw. They're not Nirvana.

After watching the Glasto highlights and indeed many a performance from them over the years, Queens Of The Stone Age are surely due a headline spot at a UK festival soon? Time and time again show up other acts and a nice hour and a half set would go down a storm
