I'm from London and I've known a few northen bands that popped up on the BBC introducing stage.

will probably see Rival Schools added as special guests on Lockup. Maybe on on the main stage in between Rise Against and Deftones or Deftones and The Offspring. One or two on Radio 1 Tent, and some if not all of Festival Republic Tent. Will probably see the likes of Twin Atlantic etc. Personally im hoping for somebody like Avenged Sevenfold from the Download lineup, but can't imagine that will happen, may be someone like Hollywood Undead in the Festival Republic Tent.

Finally... and foster the people will be good. I reckon they will get quite a big crowd

If the new announcement is coming after Download because they have one of their bands I reckon it'll will be Skindred, Midna Lake or Pretty Reckless with Skindred being my preffered choice. Acts on the non-main stages would of been announced already, rule out the bands that are too big to be slotted in now and ones that would look out of place I can't see anyone else.
