Wot do you normally forget

I gave forgotten the following in the past:

- nurofen

- thick socks

- toothbrush

- space sheet

- trainers ( actually I lost them en route and was left with a flip-flop/welly choice)

- soap

- phone number of our lift back ( Bestival )

I'm at my parents this weekend because a lot of my camping stuff is there, as well as getting my ticket sent there as there would be someone in to sign for it. So I'll let you know later today or in the next few days when I have realised i have forgot something.

To be honest as long as I don't forget my ticket anything else I will able to cope without.

My boyfriend has a habit of taking things out my bag he doesn't think I'll need. Infuriating! Last year it was anthisan. Aparently "you never need anthisan". What did I do on the first day? Lie down next to my friends tent and slide my arms under it. Arms COATED in stings.

Socks. I always take loads of pairs and, with the exception of last year when I was in hiking sandals all weekend, I always end up buying more.

Toiletries / painkillers etc are pretty expensive at the festival - I've paid £8 for some bite cream in the past from the pharmacy (would have been a fiver in Boots) and I bought a box of Tampax from a yellow shop last year and they cost a quid more than in the supermarket - so best to remember basics like that I think.

I forgot my ticket when going to Reading once. So annoying I'd already done a 2 hour journey, had to go back and do it all again...much to the dismay of my friends.

I forgot my inhaler last year - I don't get a lot of asthma nowadays but with the heat and hayfever I ended up wheezing through the whole weekend. Not clever.

I tend to bring basic medications, antihistamines, pain killers, bite/sting cream, antibac wipes, plasters, savlon and always bring immodium and have never needed to use it, my original packet is now out of date but i have had to buy some more as sods law dictates that if i do not bring any i will need it! I will forever be stuck in a buying immodium not using it cycle!

I also bring a nice pair of fluffy socks to wear only inside the tent as it is just amazing putting some lovely soft fluffy socks on when you've had a hard day bimbleing!

Cut your finger and toe nails before you leave!
