As soon as the tents are up in our group, we have our little ritual, out come the shot glasses and the vodka and we toast the tent and offer a drink to the people camped next to us.

After that, yeah, probably a stroll up to the Park, I guess, then down through the site towards the Jazzworld field, checking what stalls are back, which ones are new, that type of thing

Put our tents up with a beer, go grab firewood with another beer, help put other peoples tents up drinking another beer.

I'll be thirsty by that point, so might have a beer. Or a cider :)

We are arriving at around 6 to 7 am on Wednesday, and getting every last second from the festival. We'll pitch the tent, have a chill for an hour or so, go to lock ups to stash the cash, you can never be to careful ;) ,have a bit of a wander and then we plan a Wednesday pub crawl starting at the Cider bus at about 6pm. See you there!!

Empty the contents of my bag in the tent and have a smoke and cider with a great big Glasto smile on my face!! :-) After about an hour of revelling in that arriving feeling i will go for a bimble, still with aforementioned great big Glasto smile on my face! Can't wait, got tickets yesterday!! Although we both look really daft on our photo's, will bring extra id just in case!

lucky enough I am onsite the Tuesday afternoon so once the tent is up I will be on a wander to other crew areas where I know some people and we will see what we can get up to - there is claim there is three crew parties that night and we may even find more - who knows - its just a good day to relax and not worry about the shifts that will start on the Wednesday.

Bit different for me this year. I moved to the States just after last years Glastonbury. All my mates dont think im going this year so im going to surprise them. Once i get in i will just wander around the site for a few hours with a few beers and give all of my mates a chance to get into the festival. Knowing my luck though they will probably camp in a different area this year.

Im trying to think of ways to surprise them. Ive let my hair and beard grow longer hoping that they will not recognise me at first. Maybe i'll stumble into there camp and act smashed out of my face, then pass out right in front of them.

Usual ritual is tent up, blow up bed inflated sleeping bag unrolled, gear thrown in tent, chair unpacked, smoke and beer with huge smile

Got a myhab tent this year so no tent to put up, apart from that part same as usual

    • Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
    • 2000 Trees - 3 Day Tickets on Concert for Carers to buy (pair £15) sure they will not have them for long, I cant check if they are still available as it now says I have already bought tickets.
    • times and technology has changed , a pyramid headliner is often about the show thats put on as much as the music like it or not and as much as many would like to you cant really blame an artist for trying to get the best out of the set both for the audience in the field and for the cameras also .... Beyonce was 15 years ago
