SO SO SO Jealous, anyone else planning for 2013

I'm so so jealous to all those going this year, broke my cherry last year and i am desparate to go again, missing this year due to a booked family holiday but 2013 trip is already in the planning stage.

Anyone else doing the same?

2012 - Latitude. The demograhpics had changed a litte last year compared to previous years with larger groups of youffs but all-in-all, still a summer highlight. Small(ish), spacious, friendly. Good selection of entertainment. This year, I'm trying Green Man for the 1st time and Bestival for the 1st time too. Hopefully, one of those will be impressive enough for a 2012 return.

My girlfriends' 1st Glasto this year. Theres no doubt she will catch the bug. Her 1st festival was Wickerman, with me, last year. I think Glasto will blow her socks off and we'll be in the ticket trap for 2013!

I'm 35 in two weeks so might try and convince our group of friends to take on a European fest with a holiday attached, on the basis that if we don't do it next year, we prob never will.

Going to Super Bock Super Rock in July with just me and the wife so will see how that goes...

I'm already dreading 2012...I've only been going since 2007 so have never had to cope with a fallow year before. I'm going to go to New York Pride to try and take my mind off it!

Bestival is my "other" festival.

I think as a replacement for Glastonbury I'd be considering that, or one of the other smaller festivals. Green Man, Truck, etc.

It's fairly important to me that there's chucking out from the "arena" to the "camping" at night.

Been to lots of "lesser" festivals and they mostly disappoint. Zygit (sp?) sounds good, but I'm not sure my yearly Glastonbury pass covers flights.

Already speculatin is rife in our house about possible headliners with prospective new albums out for some major bands.

I will be doing a small festival called Mannifest on the island where i live, mostly local bands but a decent crack.

I've been thinking of what to do in 2012, at the mo its camping in my garden the weekend it would have been on with a few mates, rigging up a big outdoor screen (maybe even pyramid style hmm .? ) with my projector and watching old Glasto vids / favourite bands , drawing the line at digging a big hole for the longs drops and a stone circle in the corner any more ideas ?

We're hoping to take our eldest son for his first glasto in 2013. He obviously knows about the music, his parents getting pissed-up too. Not so sure he knows about the pill-popping and weed smoking tho

Really will be an eye-opener for him! We're hoping to bring all the kids in 2014. Gonna have to change our ways starting 2013!
