I think with Sum 41 it could go either way, similar to what happened with Panic this year. They will either play 5th down on main (depending if the festival still believe they are gonna pull a big crowd) or play it safe with what they did with Panic and but them 4th down on NME.

Sum 41 are co-headlining the Kerrang tour with New Found Glory, so I think it's fair to assume that they are considered roughly equal in size. New Found Glory were seventh down on main this year, so my best guess is that Sum 41 would go around seventh too.

As much as i think Kiss would be pretty cool, i can't really see it ever happening. But i do think we need something a little unexpected just to keep things fresh

A day curated by Reading fan-favourite, DAVE GROHL. An entire day of bands chosen by the King of Rock, Dave Grohl, featuring acts such as SOUNDGARDEN, EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, ARCTIC MONKEYS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, CAGE THE ELEPHANT and more! Rounding off the day will be the man himself, fronting Reading legends FOO FIGHTERS in a special performance.

(I dunno why I did it like a press release, just wanted to make it look more realistic )

Eh, you don't know that. The request by Dave Grohl can do wonders, and if it were to be under anyone, it'd be Foo Fighters! It's more the concept of the Dave Grohl curation day that I'm suggesting.

I still don't reckon they would sub anybody, but the idea is a good one I'm personally hoping that Foo's aren't gunna be playing, It's not an adventurous booking like the festival is in need of.
