Be that as it may, they're two massive dates. Coachella & Beni are pretty much their respective countries biggest festivals, much like Glasto is in this country. I can't see them going from playing high up there, to subbing the NME tent as some people originally thought. I guess we'll find out in March.

Whilst I agree with you, you have to take into account that Beni has 4 headliners & the Thurs is never as big as the other 3 days... That being said, I'd say headlining NME or 3rd on the main stage for ATDI is about right at R/L.

Not sure why ATDi would warrant such a high slot. I saw them in Leeds when they played the Carling tent and love Relationship of Command, so do have an appreciation of them, but is the reunion factor such a big push?

Would be better suited to a tent - think they could be a bit lost on the main stage.

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.

    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
