My guesses for possible 2011 headliners-.

Elbow, Editors, Levellers, Manics, The Music, Ian Brown, James, Franz Ferdinand, Flaming Lips, Primal Scream...

Probably waaaaay off the mark (although I did guess Doves & Coral last year!)

Others I think/hope might be there...Bombay Bicycle Club/Roots Manuva/Complete Stone Roses/Wind-Up Birds/Gruff Rhys/I Am Kloot/Michael Franti/Deadbeat Echoes

I,d love it if Echo and the Bunnymen were there,fantastic festival band,also get Happy Mondays there, the full band, Shaun Ryder will be well up for it with his new found fame and all.

PS, you guys need to get MundoJazz to play, they'd be perfect for KC, Glastonbury regulars, caught them for the first time last year, would fit into the whole KC vibe perfectly ... vote minge !

First time I saw The Music, Kings of Leon were supporting...was a brilliant night. Wonder if they will support them again here

There was a lot of discussion after last years event regarding the impact of not allowing alcohol into the arena and also the admission of, and lack of IDing of, under 18's

Does anyone have any news if any changes have been made to either of these areas this year?

Sorry you can have a beer whilst watching bands - really? why was that done then and where is alcohol allowed?

what he means is you couldnt take your own booze into the arena obviously so youd have to buy beer at the stalls and KC makes money from it.

Problem was the price of said beer, and too many underage drinkers. Obv kids should be allowed but with an adult is under 18.

ah ok nearly had mini heart attack at thought of no drinking whilst bands were on lol...

Thinking of giving this festival a go as not too far from Manchester and always seems interesting line up

the beer was about the same price as you'd pay in a pub.

At £3.50 a pint you must drink in some expensive pubs

Average about here is £2.60

For a real ale?? Blimey! My regular place aint fancy and its about £3.30 for a decent pint

My local is £2.10 for a pint of Landlord, Lager/draught-flow beer is cheaper, but I prefer real ale

....and its quite a nice place, if I go down market I can get it cheaper

£3.50 is too much for a pint of beer, especially one that is up north
