The Eagles are an American band ME has wanted to book for ages and are, arguably, one of the biggest bands in the world (at least as a touring act) so it could be a good fit for ME's comments about who he had booked. U2, Rolling Stones and The Eagles - That would fit ME's comments across the board.

Michael was asked about the Eagles a few months ago, and his immediate response was "they want £2M" - so it sounds like he's asked but it's not going to happen.

Let's be honest - it was HRC that essentially paid for Bruce, Stevie and Neil Young to play at Glasto.

certainly with Bruce it wasn't, at least not in the version that Michael Eavis tells.
