WEATHER

Neil, just let it go, then they won't feel the need to respond.

Unless you are after the record for the most posts to a forum ever!!

This argument is simply going around in circles. The only circle that is of concern to us is that big hot one in the sky..i forget its name.

Shut it the lotta ya.

In other news, these recent weather charts seem to have awoken some....confusing feelings inside of me. All I'll say is that it looks like i'll be very happy indeed if they decide to stick!

Neil, go somewhere else you are causing all the aggro. There has not been an offensive image since yesterday yet you are still dragging the topic back. If you were not taking the bait every time there would be no bait to take.

The aggro was caused by people not respecting my requests that it stop, and continued by people like you suggesting that I had no place asking for it to stop and taking the actions necessary for it to stop when it wouldn't stop.

If people like you weren't posting unthinking crap then there's nothing more to say.

Not one person has been able to - or even tried to - justify why those photos were acceptable in this thread.

Yet I'm the one "psychological imbalance" for asking that they stop, and taking the actions necessary to ensure that they do after previous requests had no effect.

You couldn't make it up. Oh, I'm wrong, you just have.

Wellie advice.

If it's going to be a rainy one (I'm sure its not) whats my best bet on welly purchasing.

Should I get short ones which will be more comfortable and less irritating in all bar a mud bath or long ones and be realistic that a mud bath may happen?

Neil, with all do respect...if you go away, the people you're fighting 'against' won't have anybody to fight, and so it'll all just fizz out.

I think everyone has learnt their lesson. No matter where people stand on the matter, I can't see inappropriate images being posted from now.

Can we just enjoy Glastobating for the next few days? We're almost there boys and girls. I can almost taste the warm cider and long-drop poop

I know I don't post here much, but this is really getting on my nerves.

As a moderator, surely you should be taking the higher ground rather than provoking and elongating an argument. You say that you've taken action because several people voiced their concerns regarding the images, and I think that's great that you listened.. now, however, many more people are complaining that the thread has gone off topic, their offended by the use of language and their sick of reading this petty argument. Yet, rather than take action on that, you perpetuate it!

That's all I wanted to say, I'm going to go elsewhere to find out about the actual weather, thanks.

Neil, just let it go, then they won't feel the need to respond.

Why do you think I should "let it go", when people are continuing to state they think it's their right to offend people on forums I run?

I'm not going to stop defending the reasonable position I've taken over this until people realise that there is no point in them continuing arguments against it.

    • We don't have any choice but I don't need a t-shirt for it! 🙂    On the bright side, it gets it out of the way for a nice 5 year run... notwithstanding wars, new contagious diseases and apocalypse.
