I've been preparing for rain since the end of last year.

Had 3 years of sun (been the occasional downpour, but overall brilliant sun).

We whinged last year about the relentlessness of the sun (typical Brits). I felt rain was due.

Not getting hopes up yet, but looking like sacrificing the pop up tent for a "proper" one may not have been completly necessary.

might be sunny where you are but there could easily be a localised shower 2 miles away that'll be enough to push the average for a wider area into the light blues...or am i talking arse..

After April was so dry it's still rock hard, even though it's been unsettled since then we've had very little rain at all bar the odd day of showers like we're getting today.

So all good here, think the fields are calling out for rain but instead they will have to deal with spilt cider
