Facebook - efests friends today

I just want to say a big thank you to everybody I was chatting with on facebook. The friends I have made on these forums who I am now friends with on facebook really pulled out all the stops to help everybody. It was a real team effort and I'm honoured and grateful that you are my friends. I can't wait to share a couple of pints of cider with you all in a field in Pilton next year.

Big shout out to Debbie who got my ticket aswell as for lots of other friends

Without facebook today I think my luck would have ran out and my hair gone grey!

yeah facebook was mental this morning, everyone was helping each other out.

i managed to get my own tickets but definitely felt a bit more optimistic knowing i had loads of efesters who could have helped me if i needed it.

these 'ere forums and the friendships gained and made through years of online banter and then camping at Glasto campsites of the Triangle shaped variety and various other festivals over the years has certainly somewhat amounted to shall we say...a support network of utter fabulousness and fruitfulness???

Mr Neil we salute and thank you for inventing/creating this hive of scum and villainy that is Efest forums, without you, none of us would know each other and be lifelong friends now

And to my wonderful friends, you know who you are and hopefully the ever expanding group of loveliness will only get bigger and better over the years and even more people can be helped out in the future on days like these

i was the booker, not the bookee but yeah i had people i've never met give me their card details. if they know me enough to be on my facebook, they also know i'm not a scammer.

But saying that...a total stranger rang me up to make sure I got her and her friends tickets, but I knew the other friends...so erm...was still a surprise to get the call.

I'd also like to mention one of our friends in Scotland who for various reasons (young kids, cost etc) really can't go to Glastonbury but who sat on facebook for hours this morning being our biggest cheerleader and who finally managed to bag the last ticket we needed! What a star!

I was so lucky to have a friend manage to get through and get me tickets and in return I got tickets for some efesters and I wish I could have helped more! What a fantastic community we have!

Facebook this morning was amazing. So much love and so many people helping each other out and cheering each other up :-)

I was trying for hours (even after my tickets were sorted) and didn't get through at all but Andy managed to get me and Kris tickets and then Paul TM got one for a friend of mine.

I couldn't get on efestivals this morning (Busy server message) used email, mobile phone, and MOSTLY facebook to keep in contact with people from Wales, Hull, Manchester until everyone had tickets (The sold out sign was up) have efests got a facebook page? can anyone pass the URL please?
