Facebook - efests friends today

I'm not a Glasto goer however it was fab to see the efest luv being shared on fb this morning and was great to be able to help some folk out getting tickets

The spirit on FB this morning was pretty awesome and stuff.

I really can't wait to camp out will all yous lovely people again (and the legends I've yet to meet).

joy told me there was a facebook group for efest but no one used it.

im guessing we should find it/make a new one, for times like this.

andy came upstairs at like 5 past 9 and screamed we had tickets, and then he went to help another 8 people get some, and it just shows when we all work together we can get it sorted. glad you all have the same spirit, and i cant wait to see you at glasto (and bearded, and alchemy) !

anyone got that addy? it is useful for new people to find all the people they have met and add them as friends on fb too.

I just want to say a big thank you to everybody I was chatting with on facebook. The friends I have made on these forums who I am now friends with on facebook really pulled out all the stops to help everybody. It was a real team effort and I'm honoured and grateful that you are my friends. I can't wait to share a couple of pints of cider with you all in a field in Pilton next year.

Have to echo the sentiments above - it really was lovely and reminds you just how great this community is. The way everyone frantically checked to see whether there was anyone left without tickets and didn't give up until the last person got them was just how things should be in an ideal world.

Enormous thanks to future_shock for mine, and very happy I could help a few others out.

Can't wait to be back there in June, and early enough to have my space in CT back this year

Folks, this morning was a joy tbh. So easy to buy tickets. I got in to the system just before 8.55 this morning and was able to place 4 orders without queueing. I was able to get another couple of orders sorted later. Everyone I know got tickets, and pretty early on to be honest. Add to that, I don't need a carry out next June as Paul and Phil have promised to get me drunk lol

Stress free and the Karma seemed to be flowing. Camp efests is going to have nine Norn Irish in their ranks next summer

Just want to add to the efest love-in. Were it not for Llcoolphil, Chazeboy and Norainplease (and their quite wonderful friends) I wouldn't be going to glastonbury next year. The fact that you all tried so hard to get me tickets when in reality I've only met you all once left me stupidly happy and not a little emotional in the end yesterday. Can't thank you all enough and can't wait to get the drinks flowing at the cider bus next year

I'd just like to echo the sentiments already expressed in this thread, FB was great yesterday morning. Everybody was being really supportive, which was great as I've only met most of my efest fb freinds once or twice at meets/fests. Massive thanks to Paul who helped us get tickets, and to MuckyG who also offered help, lovelly to see a bit of community spirit in action!

I was amazed and impressed by everyone helping out on FB yesterday. It was lovely to see.

Even people who weren't going to Glastonbury were helping out by posting See Ticket phone numbers and trying to buy tickets for others.

It really was amazing to be part of yesterday morning!! I can't thank Paul enough for getting me and my mates tickets! It only felt right that I stay on and try and help others out and I'm glad I could.

Fantastic community atmosphere and I can't wait to see everyone again over the winter meets and in a field (or various fields!) next summer!

Glad to see the efest love proved to be magical again, Although I don't do facebook and couldn't get on here for I did see the same love reflected on Twitter ) it really did give me cheer to be helped and to help others!
