at the end of the day, you only really have a right to be distressed by this stupid mans actions if you are religious. As an atheist I believe he can do what the f**k he likes. the media (and to some degree) public/political outrage at this simply illustrates the completely ridiculous influence religion appears to have over modern society.

I bet it gets blanket coverage if he goes through with it.

Theres a couple of things wrong with the statement 'they are building a mosque at Ground Zero', namely that its neither going to be a mosque or at ground zero.

The whole thing is proposterous. Its so obviously a set-up. Why would those planning to build a mosque suddenly change their plans cos some eejit threatens to burn a couple of books? And this guy believed them!

The Muslims getting worked up about it are as nutty as the christians. Someone burns a few books thousands of miles away and a few twats take offence to it. Theres deadly riots and folk get killed. All because of stuff a few stoners made up and put in a book (in Islam's case) 1500 years ago
