If you want to see what you might look like slimmer or fatter then have a go on this. http://www3.weightmirror.com/weightmirror/index.php?id You upload a pic of yourself, put your height & weight in then move an arrow to add or remove pounds. The result is instant. (Oh if only it was that easy in real life!) I made myself look skinny on it then died laughing by doing a mahoosive one. :D Oh & it doesn't cost anything by the way.

Ok, I now need to get rid of about 6 stone, I was worse than I thought :(

I'm going away this weekend and haven't got time to digest how it works properly so I will try and eat as little shit stuff as possible then start it properly on Monday. I am doing the extra easy one, the green and red day thing didn't appeal at all! I have 15 sins a day and considering a mars bar is 14 sins then I am royally fooked!

Cheers for that, they may be ideal for work. I'm just worried about the whole sweet tooth thing! Not a huge fan of fruit, veg or yoghurt but I figure i'd better start liking them

Some great tips coming out I don't have a chocolate craving the BF does I am going to make him smell vanilla next time he cries for a choc bar! (I hide them!!)

Bear with drinking the water I have already had 4 litres today and peed about 4 times only, your body does get used to it and it helps to keep you feeling full xxx

Ok, I'm in too! I've sadly gained a stone since last year and know I need to get on it now rather than a mad rush for six weeks before like i've done previously

Get a bike. Through cycling and not munching on chocolate (cos of my new teeth), Ive dropped just under a stone in the past 6ish weeks. I have a hellish sweet tooth and if I eat chocolate I get cravings. But Ive found if I can hang on for a weekish without, the carvings go. Cycling is brilliant. It's hard at first sure, but it doesn't take a lot to get where you're not stopping at every hill or pushing up it all the time - but get the best bike you can afford, even if it means saving for a bit. And because of that bit of weight off and a bit of extra lung capacity (not smoking helps too!) Ive been able to start running again - I crucified my back at the beginning of the year trying. You know me and my physique - if I can do it, I KNOW you can when you set your head to it. Dont set off with a target of six stone, just set off with a target of getting fitter and the rest - a better diet and weight loss will follow when you start enjoying the exercise and want to get more out of it. Just a bit at a time to start with and you'll be surprised how you can do. I set a target of doing the Edin marathon next year earlier this year, and Im buggered if Im not going to do it after a public declaration!

Go Chocs :D

Hey dvjj....I'm back! :D

Things are finally getting back to normal after my mother-in-law dying in June so not only am I getting back into normal life, I'm getting back into the losing weight & getting fit again too! Managed to lose that 1 measly stone before Glastonbury this year but since then my weight has just kind of hovered.

Would like to lose another stone by the begining of Nov (when I go to Japan for 3 weeks! :) ) & then another one before Glastonbury 2011 but am not putting too much pressure on myself. Hopefully with the help of you lot though, I'll at least get some of the way there!

Good luck everyone! We can do it!

So far for this thread I've had a fry up, loads of beer, a curry, another fry up and two mcdonalds.

I started a new job thought and walked there and back, thats two miles in total. I'll start this when I go shopping for some decent healthy grub instead of the crap I currently have in.
