The Levellers at The Glade

Did anyone see them and was The Glade as full as people thought it might be.

It was full enough to spill out into the open area around the outside of the stage but it wasn't absolutely rammed, and as usual the boys didn't disappoint. The Devil went down was an obvious highlight.....

We could actually hear "Devil Went Down..." from outside our tent in Kidney Mead after Stevie had finished and we had wandered back. Made us smile

Very busy, but not stupidly packed, but Stevie Wonder pulled a massive crowd for a Sunday headliner and as we walked from Pyramid to Glade everywhere else was deserted, so they did pull a very good crowd considering.

On top form as ever. Hopefully they may at long last get a main stage slot again sometime.

Yeah I fought my way out of the pyramid after Faithless, partly to get away from the crowds that were getting on my tits, and partly to catch the Levellers. They were very good, Inside/Outside and Together All The Way being the highlights for me.

It wasn't anything like "deserted". It was deserted when Bowie headlined, it was deserted when Macca headlined.

It wasn't too much different when Stevie headlined to when any 'standard' headliner is playing. I was quite surprised by that.

Caught a few Stevie songs just to tick the box. Saw a few of the Levellers and then Gomez. Fine way to end the festie.

Totaly forgot they were on and suprisingly caught beautiful day as we strolled back from stevie...everyone in ear shot was singing it.... was a great way to hear the last song at glasto 2010!

they were brilliant, so glad i left stevie wonder. i was dancing like a loon the whole set

i only knew 2 songs aswell (not to familier with levellers, just knew one way and beautiful day) seriously brilliant, 2nd favourite act of the weekend (behind muse)

They played a lot of songs I'd not heard them play before, which was a treat. Also think it was the first time I'd seen them under the influence, not sure if that added anything to it but I thought they were especially excellent!

11 efesters gave The Levellers a rating on the Glasto score card. Average of 7.6, which is pretty decent.

Wish I'd have thought of that, I went straight to The Glade, and saw half of Alabama 3, who were good but I've seen them loads of times - would have liked to have caught Orbital

Anyone got a list of the setlist they played? I stayed for about 6-7 songs and didn't recognise much. Had to leave due to my GF whinging about her bloody blisters.

Quality - really looking forward to it. Normally post-Glasto, I just get a feeling like the summers already over prematurely. Just needed one more fix this year, and always wanted to see what BD was like (have been a Levs fan anyway since '91).
