instant success is a bit of a bold statement. what is the bigger picture though? yeah you've got a nice stadium and a youth set up. but the youth set up is worth nothing if it is only going to produce players that get you 2nd at best.

anyway, i've just seen an email from skybet with a free £5 birthday bet :D i'm thinking man utd are a safe one for the accumulator. can't see them not advancing.

Absolutely agree. 100%. It devalues the Final for me.

Though don't understand Man Utd and Man City fans who have stated it'll cause problems what with supporters of both teams being on the same trains. Ignoring the obvious joke, surely that would have been the case anyway, had the Semi Final been held at say Villa Park?

They stayed up with Richardson. Year after they went down. Richardson turned down the second loan move to try his chances with Utd.

edit: he scored the 2nd goal in their 2-0 win against Pompy last game of the season that kept them up after starting the day in 20th.

Only because he's been injured all season after doing his cruciate. Bruce has been talking this week about his return and that the Liverpool game might be too soon but hoping he can get him back for the games after that. Obviously will depend on what it's contingent on, but he started 23 games for your lot last season (played 36 overall), and you've lost Bent now, so I'd think he'll probably still be in Bruce's plans even if just as a squad member.

Im not sure not playing will make much difference for a keeper. Kenny had his drugs ban and is now on his way back to the premiership. Fitness isnt as important for a keeper. Part of me thinks it may be worth risking him in the first game, he has self belief and will also bollock the defence when needed.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
