'The countdown to Double Scoop Sundae has officially started with tickets now on sale. This year is set to be even better, with two luscious venues to graze in with your herd over two days, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July. Manchester’s fabulous Heaton Park will welcome fans for the first time while London’s Clapham Common returns for its 7th year.

We're excited to be able to give you the inside scoop on bands before the rest of the world. Headlining one day at each festival is the Moovellous Maximo Park, supported by Gary Numan, The Duke and the King, Little Comets, and The Sound of Rum. Stay tuned to find out who our 2nd headliner is...it'll be worth the wait!'

It reminds me of a summer fete more so than a festival in terms of what there is to do. As Paul said, things for kids mainly- helter skelter, usually have some animals in a petting area, toe wrestling etc. There is the main stage- and the newer acoustic stage which was set up last year. Basically you just chill out, eat ice cream and have a nice day (or 2) out. It finishes at 8pm as it is family orientated and this suits us as it means we can head back into town for the evening.

Great festival and one of my highlights of the year. Didn't see Maximo coming but I'm happy with them and Gary Numan- not so familiar with the others although have heard good things about little comets. Figners crossed for a good saturday line up too.

I'm a little bit worried as the tickets say they are non-transferable and we have just phoned the enquiries line and they told us you will have to have proof of ID that matches the name on the ticket or you must be with the person that bought them - otherwise they will refuse entry! This seems a bit ridiculous as I bought my ticket from my friend who can no longer go...surely they will not be able to enforce this on 25,000 people? Any one go last year with this kind of situation?
