Stone Circle Sunrise Sessions

Guest Mark Harp For Hangovers

Recommended Posts

Hey,

Just thought I'd come on here to let people know about the Sunrise Sessions we're setting up for Glastonbury 2010.

I play in Harp For Hangovers, we do chilled out versions of rock, metal and indie tracks on a 29-string harp and female vocals and are playing in the Criossant Neuf area of the Greenfields.

We're also going to be in the Stone Circle Friday and Sunday mornings to play an acoustic set at sunrise to help ease people out of their nights debauchery into the new day. That's the plan anyway.

If you're going to be at glasto and like the idea of this then come along and meet us at sunrise.

You can also check out our facebook group for the sessions here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?e...0197&ref=mf

And see a video of what we do below:

I have never been at the Stone circle at sunrise although I have mansaged to be up all night once or twice.

Daft question but - at what time can we expect sunrise?

It's just always gone one way or the other for me - either out cold in my tent, or dancing my socks off in a bigger tent somewhere and emerging to find it's light. If I knew when i could make an effort to be there!

Hey,

It looks like sunrise will be around 4.50am over Glastonbury weekend, a bit earlier than we thought but will be there setting up to find a cool spot etc from around 4ish.

Also we were thinking of Friday and Sunday mornings so I guess that would be the Thursday and Saturday nights if that makes sense!

It'll be great if there's a few people there to check it out. Its getting exciting

    • It was never going to be great was it, there is comments of Mickey Mouse all over socials lol which is very similar to Glastonbury.  Someone I know from RIP watched Welcome to the Jungle and left and they went saying they've got to see GNR. It was the only day not to see out as well.
    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
