Some of you will be aware of Rooney, my beloved dog. Despite health problems, he was diabetic, he was a happy, loyal, lovable scamp. You may have noticed I am talking in the passed tense, yes, tonight Rooney sadly passed away. The reason I am posting on here is to ask if anyone knows if it will be possible to have him burried at Glastonbury, at the stone circle would be nice but anywhere would do. Rooney is in the shed tonight and my plan is to place him in a temporary grave in the morning, before moving him next month.

I am really cut up about this, so please no jokes about him already having a ticket.

poor guy i'm at uni, i miss my dog so much all the time and he's got epilepsy so whenever my parents tell me he's been fitting i'm desperate to go home.

i'm sorry, i don't know anything of the landholder's rights though. just wanted to offer my condolences.

Ashes sounds like a good idea. You will be able to get him cremated on his own if that's what you want to do.

I have just burried Rooney in the garden and on reflection that is where I am going to leave him. Emotions took over last night and I Was forgetting that I may not even be admitted to the festival, also if my luggage was searched it may look a bit odd. Probably gonna take his collar and bowl and do something with those, I will make my mind up nearer the time.

Good grief, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I think some of the Aboriginals used to bury their dead standing up inside hollow trees. Perhaps you could find one at Glastonbury? I can bring you some clay and ochre body paint to help with getting ready for the traditional ceremonies if you like.

During times of high emotion it's nice to have music, it can be a great comfort. However some special songs can rip your heart out, yet we listen to them knowing they are going to rip our hearts out.

I have been listening to this, replacing "Dodi" with "Rooney" in my head. You can probably imagine my heartache.
