Glasto Holiday

The gates open Wednesday but when does your glasto holiday start?

My last day at work is the Friday, so my holiday is going to start on Saturday.

Going to see Macbeth at the Globe theatre on the Saturday night, chill out Sunday then head up to meet my mates in Lincoln on the Monday - this is when the holiday drinking will begin.

Only 5 weeks and 3 days till that Friday

My last day is the Thursday before. Then got Green Day and N.E.R.D on the Saturday and Monday, and then it's Glasto baby Not long to go at all

I'm on permanent holiday at the moment

Glastonbury holiday for me though starts on the Tuesday as that's when we pack the car & head off to SUNNY Glastonbury!

Tuesday after College. I'll pack, mate coming over at around 8:00, watch Glasto DVD, go to bed after DVD. Sounds like a plan.

Tuesday. I'm travelling down to Pilton Village, staying with friends, then wandering down the road in the morning It ends the following Tuesday due to me staying in Glastonbury town on the Monday in a devious crowded trains avoidance system

Finish work around 4 on the Monday and then not back in till the Weds following. The barstuards have arranged a meeting at 9.30 on that morning

Monday 21st 5pm.. Crack open beers and pack the van..

Pickup Noodle24 tuesday lunchtime and off we go..

Campsite 500m from the carparks on tuesday.

I fly to Sonar on Wednesday 16th get back to the UK on the Monday, have a day at work on Tuesday and then head to Glasto on the Wednesday Morning.

pack my job in completely on the 22nd of June! then head to Glasto on the 23rd

We'll be leaving the bonnie Scottish highlands on the Saturday before for the long drive down, but I'm finished work on the thursday night to pack etc on the friday so 5 weeks and 3 days for me too!

Finish work Friday,set off from Cumbria on Saturday morning in campervan,going to Burnham-On-Sea, Haven holiday park,not far from Glasto,relax for 3 days,then into Shepton Mallet Tesco tuesday morning for supplies then hopefully not too long to wait for gates opening HAPPY DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a job But I have told them already I am having from the friday before til the Wednesday after off as holiday already booked so yeah busy weekend to, mate whose going to glasto's birthday on the saturday and my aunts 50th, so two parties

Mine dont start till the kids are dropped at school on Wednesday morning and then we drive to Glasto, back on Monday morning to pick the kids up from school in the afternoon. Not long enough really would like to have come down on Tuesday

I'm at work on the Tuesday...but if last year is anything to go by, wont get a great deal done...just spend the day bouncing round like Tigger telling everybody i'm off to Glasto in a few hours!

We leave home (Edinburgh) on sunday the 20th drive down to the cotswolds and have a relaxing few days before heading to glasto Wednesday morning...on leaving we drive back to the cotswolds and stay there for another 3 days then back to Scotland...LOVELY!

Mine starts 5pm Friday The friday before the festival,when the wind down to wednesday starts and my hubby flies home for 2 weeks r and r from Afghanistan. So double whammy get to see him and we both go to Glastonbury! Cannot wait:)

Straight after work on Monday - on the overnight boat over on Monday night - chill somewhere on Tuesday for the day ... back on the Tuesday boat afterwards - woo hoo

Finish work on the Monday, get sorted on the Tuesday, drive down early doors Wednesday.

Off the whole week after to recover. Not been for years, a lot older and need the recovery time !

Two options:

1) I haven't got the leave yet, so I'm not going

2) If I do get the leave, I start it on the 8th June.

So I'm either very annoyed or very happy. Moderation is for sissies.

I finish on the Friday before, going to Avebury (probably) for Solstice on Sunday night, back home Monday daytime, pack some stuff, rest Mon night/tues day, sleep a bit, drive up sometime Tuesday night, probably around midnight-1am.

I'm not back at work til the Wednesday after, my first year where I dont have to work the next day!!!
