Just booked a table for me and some mates, be quick they're filling up! If you can get a table then you'll be asked to send a £10 deposit per person to secure the reservation.

Menu looks great :P

Only problem now is to figure out what to wear :P

That's a massive mark up on that menu isn't it? I guess you're paying for the chef. Wild rabbits aren't exactly rare around those parts I'd imagine. Same goes for wood pigeon. Mackerel are so plentiful they are used for bait round my way? Shoulder isn't exactly the most expensive cut of lamb. We all know what sweetbreads are right and you can dress your veg up with as many Marks & Spencers food porn terms as you like but they is still just veg.

Plus drinks of course.

That's kinda what i thought at the menu too, nothing really fancy for the amount of money. There's plenty of good, and much cheaper, food outlets all over the site so I'm not gonna bother personally.

Yeah, I'm gonna do my own three course meal.

Starter: Dorset Soup Company.

Main: Gonna try the Goan Fish Curry this year.

Dessert: Doughnuts or Pancakes, drizzled with oodles of yellow sunshine grown yellow lemons and the best, ethically sourced, refined cane caster sugar.

Drink: Love those smoothies with ginger in them, though they *were* a bit pricey at £3ish I think.

How much is that going to cost?

Would opt for a fried chicken meal from a dodgy looking van any day of the week. Not my cuppa tea at all but I'm sure that if I was with my family and it was a nice evening then it would be absolutely great. Enjoy yourselves whoever has booked it :P

Right on ! B*gger the po$h no$h, jolly nice as it may be, I reckon crumpets could even become the new Growler this year :P

Bl**dy love 'em and always have a whole bunch stashed away in the freezer for those unexpected feeling some munchies coming on moments :P but not really something I would have expected to find at a festi I must say until LL mentioned it. Crumpets en-route back to the tent at stupid o'clock is defo pretty high on the agenda for me this year :P Sad but true I'm afraid - the customary massive great bag of doughnuts (also jolly nice as they may be) is so last decade I think !

Not sure what to think of these fancy eateries TBH. Part of me says great idea and if I was with someone or it was special occasion or something then I'd possibly find the do$h somehow to give it a try. But part of me also says it's taking the p!ss a bit really no matter how good the food/service might be. I'd be very much more in favour if a significant part of the do$h being paid went straight to the festival good causes rather than presumably into someone's pocket. Will be very interesting to see what those who are thinking of trying it out have to say about their experience after the festival  Piccies and reviews in the /index.php?showtopic=116784">Glasto Food With Piccies Thread are expected and all that

I like the idea...just the actual don't appeal to me :P Maybe 15 quid a head for something like Ribs and Chips, or steak and chips would be more to my liking :P

I do like the idea of a proper sit down meal type area though!
