This is a bit of a boring argument isn't it.

Black Hole's argument seems to be: 'if you're going to be offensive then make sure you're funny' which is usually a good policy I think but doesn't explain why he's being so humourless.

My only fear (and sorry to drift off the subject of mindless tit for tat insults), is that muse spend an evening doing 23 minute epics with lyrics like bad sci-fi scripts, in the dark, while they show a grainy black and white film of enoch powell being spanked with salad items. It could happen (and I bet I'm at least halfway right;)).

I thought Glastonbury was all about diversity? Why should they cater for people who wanna stand at one stage watching one genre all day?

I'll probably be going to see the Scissor Sister then leaving before Muse.

This thread went Politically Correct for most of it. However none of you "PC" brigade have picked on the most obvious festival wrongness - Yes "Brothers" Cider.

When is someone going to suggest renaming it? Surely "None gender, skin colour or religious belief specific" Cider may be more appropriate to you do-gooders??

Get a life and treat it with the seriousness it doesn't deserve

It was clearly light hearted.

I don't see how its sexism anyway. I hate the idea that its bigotry to even mention differences. Yes Black people are different to white people ( I know this as my two of my best friends (and I mean that) are black and Asian) and yes women believe or not are different to men.

I dont think its too out there to suggest that more women will like scissor sisters and more men enjoy football. Of course there is overlap between both, some will love both some will hate both but on the whole that will be the case.

You are quite frankly are guilty of the same idiocy shown by the likes of the Sun. We should celebrate our differences rather than pretending everyone is one and the same which is not only problematic but complete foolishness.

Regardless of colour, race or sexual persuasion, you just can't ignore the fact that Scissor Sisters aren't very good,

I would have no problem dancing like a complete bandit to them on a sunny sunday afternoon.......

but not saturday night when I want proper music.....I am afraid this will be one of those you look back on and say "Scissor Sisters....wtf were they doing sub-headling, the lead singer works in Wilkos now"
