Probably a few but one that springs to mind was watching Edwyn Collins determined struggle to walk onto the Park Stage with his walking stick a couple of year ago. He delivered a fantastic set. Would have brought a tear to a glass eye.

Only cried once at a gig, Spiritualized performing Accoustic Mainlines at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall and that was after a particularly hard break-up with the mother of my child who I'd been with for over twelve years. J Spaceman singing I Think I'm In Love was just too much to bear, made me feel like death.

What did cheer me up was hearing someone with a thick Black Country accent say "I cor believe I spent fifteen pound ter yav me sole tor aport"

I get the feeling once I've put my tent up and I sit down with a drink watching other people arrive, watching it all develop around me, watching my friends laughing and joking.

I get it during an act, randomly, when it suddenly hits me how beautiful it all is.

I get it when sat up at the stones looking out over the site.

I get it on the Monday when driving off site.

Joan Baez singing 'There But For Fortune' in the Acoustic Tent had me in floods of tears. A big bloke next to me put his arm round my shoulder and asked "Are you OK mate?" I thanked him for asking and blubbered: "It's just beautiful."

I love music that moves me and touches emotions, either of great happiness or sadness.

The two 'moments' that stick in my mind are watching Elbow, with a big bunch of eFesters but without Rabid (he wasn't at G that year). The moment Guy Garvey started singing I just dissolved. I was so incredibly happy being where I was, surrounded by friends, but the one person I really wanted to be with right there & then was hundreds of miles away.

The other 'moment' was Rolf singing "Two Little Boys". I can never hear that song without getting very teary. (I even burst into tears when we were chatting about Sir Rolf's songs at !) There's just something about that song.
