The Wedding Present

Basically I'm having a nice lazy day listening to Bizarro and it's a quality album and I know this is random but I'm a bit bored.

What are the chances of The Wedding Present playing Glasto? I reckon they would be brilliant in the Avalon stage doing the same slot The Wonder Stuff did this year and I would definately go see them, would be a great alternative to Muse :P

21 YEARS!!! SHEEEEEEEEEEEET!

I would love to see the Wedding Present at Glasto playing anything at all, but Bizarro in its entirety would be excellent.

Blackhole2006 - you are in for a real treat if you have more undiscovered Weddos tracks to listen to. George Best is a superb album (especially this version with the bonus B-sides on it - £7 what a bargain!), Tommy is cracking too. Be prepared for a bit of a radical departure with 'Seamonsters' though - personally I think Steve Albini f**ked it up a bit.

I was speaking to Shirley Ghostman the other week and she says that Mr Peel is a bit miffed that Mr Gedge hasn't been invited to do his stuff on his stage as of yet. And this year TWP are touring Bizarro in all its 21 year old glory so it would be a great opportunity to put things right. JP also said that DG will have to play in his shorts again as it's going to be really warm this year.
