They sold out rapidly last time they played wembley stadium, wasnt it in an hour or so? This time they have not sold out either date despite being on sale for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks.

Now, if they were The Greatest Live Band In The World.....Ever! like all you fanboys monotonously keep repeating, then wouldnt the people have gone in 2007 bought tickets again?

Muse are probably my favourite band, but no way are they the best live act.

Personally, Radiohead, Madness and Maximo Park have all been much more enjoyable.

Having said that, they do put on a great show, and their new material is fantastic so I look forward to seeing them perform at Glastonbury.

The other possibility is of course that you actually believe all the tosh you've been writing in which case marks out of ten for intellect, open-mindedness and general vibe of all other people I've ever met at Glastonbury: zero.

Loads of people seem to like Muse, I dont but the seem to be genuine and good at what they do. I hope they headline, the drummers Dad (I think) died just after their last performance at Glasto, so would be nice for them. I can go somewhere else, someone cool on the Jazz World would be nice! :P

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
