I was working the night I found out they were playing in my local nightclub, and kicked myself ever since for not knowing about it sooner. Would really like to see them at Pilton Pop Party (or anywhere else for that matter)

Yup - they're still together. I believe they're working on their 4th album at the moment.

I'm a massive Bees fan - seen them about 9 times and met them before they played at the Moseley Folk Festival in 2008. Great bunch of lads.

I would love to see them at The Park - I think they'd be perfect for that stage. They're due a visit to Pilton - they haven't played there since that EPIC set at Jazzworld in 2007.

Free The Bees. Their second album. Great track, though I'm more of a 'Wash In The Rain'/'Who Cares What The Question Is?' fan myself.

Free The Bees is probably in my top 10 favourite albums of all time.

I seem to remember it getting panned when it came out. People saying the band had better record collections than songwriting ability. A lot of the bands I adore have been accused of that to be fair. The Bees harmonies are just gorgeous - tough ask to not find yourself getting caught up with them. ChickenPayback is shit though.

One of my favourite bands!

Their 2007 JW set was epic! I've been keeping an eye out for when they come back and I've been waiting too long! If they play Glasto I think I might puke with excitement!

I saw them at End of the Road in 07, without knowing much of their stuff, and thought they were brilliant. Would love to see them at Glasto

They're a local band to me, and as far as I know they haven't split, but they don't seem to be doing much as a band at the moment beyond the Bees Soundsystem project.

The Bees are just putting the finishing touches to their new album. I've heard one track and it's a killer - up there with their best.

Not the most groundbreaking band of the last decade but they always put on a good live show - I have looked on wikipedia and myspace and it looks like they haven't released anything or toured in 2009 so maybe they have been recording a new album and will tour it (who knows)
