I would have said MGMT but having seen them on their recent tour I was hugely disappointed. What sort of a live band presses play on a recording of their biggest hit (Kids) and jumps about the stage not singing live!?

Saw Menomena supporting The National at Brixton in December and they were brilliant. Would definitely go and see them again.

The last 12 months have been brilliant for new music (some from new bands, others breaking through to a wider audience for the first time), can't believe people still aren't done with all the indie landfill of the last few years.

In terms of other bands, wouldn't be suprised if The Libertines played. It would make sense.
