I remember being made redundant, got £3k and 2 weeks later got a job that pays £5k more a year.

I'd speak with recruitment agencies and see what chances you have of getting another job quick and then decide.

Indeed might work out rosey. In some ways redundancy would be ok, thankfully i've got mortgage protection so that would cover me and I'd just pull our little one out of nursery and stay at home with her for a year. Statutary redunancy is a kick in the balls though. Worked here for 11 years and i'd walk away with £4k, less than my boss who's lack of planning has got us in this position makes in a 2 weeks. Sickening.

the flat upstairs getting a new bathroom in. my bathroom light has already fallen off the ceiling and smashed because of all their banging, the noise is ridiculous and doesn't stop all day, the builders keep leaving the front door open so there's like a million domino's leaflets all over the building because the wind gets in and blows everything around.. :angry:

I got a pizza delivered last night and the guy asked me if I could wait by the door till he left on his bike as didn't trust some of the people on the street.
