Now i'm not going to go Coldplay bashing because i though that the first album was just a killer album, they went w*nky after the second album IMO , some good on the third. I think they would give a good singalong, but can understand them being done to death.

What a totally pointless, negative thread. Speculating over speculation - which has also been done before on a previous thread..

Agreed.

Get a f**king life, people. You don't like them? Shame. I'm sorry for you. Honestly.

But someone actually took the time out to post a negative sounding thread? My, my - that is very sad indeed. Pathetic, even. :P

You know what? I hope they do play. Just to really piss off the individual who started this thread. :P

Sorry LW but how about some consistency here?

My favourite quotes from the X factor thread over in discussions...

:P

The only time I ever saw them was at Radio 1's "One Big Sunday" at Leicester - which was always a top day out btw - especially as it was free!

They were last on and had only had 2 hits so far I think - Yellow and Trouble. The majority of the audience drifted off after the final boyband of the day - it might've been Busted, I can't remember now, and I remember wandering close to the front, and although I had liked the singles, I thought they may be a bit slow and boring live.

I was really surprised how good they were. They played loads of old rocknroll and were great fun.

I've never been at a festival where they've been on, although i have seen their sets on telly a few times. I think the 2005 set looked fantastic. I remember crying during Fix You because it was the first time I'd heard it and it seemed to sum up my despair at not being able to get a ticket! (When you try your best but you don't succeed...)

I'd go and see them if they were on.

Ive been saying this for a good few months now on various threads, that they are playing, "inside knowledge" blah blah blah. but no one ever pays attention :P

    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
    • Debut album from Haiver (ex Frightened Rabbit's Billy Kennedy band) is an absolutely gorgeous thing. If you're a fan of FR then you'll probably like it. Definitely a contender for album of the year for me.
    • The tickets for the back at Muse, did go on sale. I know because I bought tickets there because they were the cheapest. All in with fee's, I got tickets at £81.20 each.   So likely, sold out quickly for those wanting the cheapest tickets. Either that or sold poorly and they took them off sale and when I turn up they offer me paper ticket upgrades because they closed the back.
    • She's headlining Reading and Leeds. Not to be sniffed at. She's also done her substantial arena tour since last time.    I think she's a decent bet to do it.
