These are a bit self-indulgent 'cause they're all of me and my friends. But hey, that's why they're my favourite! This was my first glasto too. I'm the one in the yellow Brothers hat usually.

I discovered the dragon while trying to find a loo and a lovely gentleman offered to take pics of us on our camera. That was what kinda REALLY introduced me to the glasto spirit. Him taking 10 minutes out of his night for no reason aside from to help us make a memory.

This is me as I first walk into glasto. You can't see it, but my jaw is near enough to the floor.

First thing I do when I get off the train.

Relaxing after a long day of something.

Clean as ever. Possibly my fave.

One I took this year:

CIMG4612.JPG

Which i'm a bit gutted about because it is rather similar to the photy that won the 2009 festival Fan Photo Award. As I remember it, 4AssedMonkey had just had his photo taken in that coffin up in The Park when this stoner guy with broken pink glasses and a huge spliff on climbed in after him... we had a bit of a chuckle with him and he posed for my photo.

It looks as though I wasn't the only one taking a photo of him though. Humph...

ROXANNEROYER_GLASTO.jpg

Yours is far better :P

Usually? Did you ever take it off? :P

Bit like my old German army jacket, which I bought back in 1992 or something (when every indie kid wore one along with the German ex-army / surplus boots), which I have taken to every Glasto since 1994 and worn there every cold evening. Can't peel the thing off me. Still perfect for purpose.
