Yup, they've just announced South American of their world tour - with dates up to April.

I'm talking about the types who can tell you the pressing numbers of any bit of released AND unreleased vinyl from memory. I'm talking about the types who know the bands tour itinerary months before announcement, and then travel around the world to catch every show. Those types.

I've yet to come across obsessives of any band who get even remotely close to these Stones nutters.

Radiohead (no plans to play anywhere this year apparently)

Possibles?

Coldplay - Would probably play every year if they could

Muse - Definitely playing

Dylan, would probably be a huge letdown but lets face it - he's big enough to do it

Arctics - Meh

Kasabian - Deffo not been asked to play and played too many times recently but they're probably big enough to do it now

Chemical Brothers, could be a fallback option

Any other indie type band like Keane, Snow Patrol etc

McCartney, probably not going to happen due to 2004 being too fresh/hard to beat but never know

Very unlikely but hey, no ones denied they're playing yet

Zeppelin - Seems all the key players are there, all comes down to Plant

The Smiths - If Morrissey suddenly gave up his hatred for Joyce and his general stubborness then maybe it will happen one day but then again, this is the 40th

Stone Roses - Also too many tensions with each other like The Smiths

Pink Floyd - See above (although they do seem more likely)

Therefore I'm going for
