Anyone reckon there's a chance of them playing again next year? Watching their performance from this year once again and I have goosebumps, literally the best moment of my life watching them. Words cannot describe how awesome their performance was and I'd love to see them again next year :P.

i thought it was a blinding gig, woulda been highlight of the week if blur hadnt of destroyed all!

and as for comparing them to the prodigy, ye you can do that, but only in concept, neither band actually sound anything like eachother.. :P

I saw them at V as well and I am pretty sure they said that was going to be their last live gig for a while because they were going back into the studio or something like that, so very unlikely for next year.

oh cmon, do we really have to go down this route! fair enough you think they are shit that you dont like, but im sure someone somewhere will say the same about some band/artist you like!

everyone knows music is subjective, which is why i dont generally like to call anyone "shit" (some exceptions admitedly) :P

I am saw them live about 2 years ago now at the bournemouth opera house, amazing! Didn't really decide to go until the day before and so glad I did, I don't normally do mosh pits and the like but you couldn't help but feel involved.

Blinding!, would love to see them at glasto next year was watching tv coverage waiting for franz ferdinand and was just so impressed. (God that was a great and hectic line up on the saturday night for the other stage so jealous, Maximo Park, Pendulum and Franz!)

fair enough, but your constructive critisism seems to derive from the fact that "indie kids" like em cuz they did somthing different. more power to pendulum i say! i like both albums, always have. jus so you know where im comin from iv been goin to jungles/dnb raves/whatever you wanna call em for the best part of 15 years! but alongside that i also played bass guitar in a heavy metal band!! music should jus be enjoyed, and labels torn up, i know itll never happen, but when people start disliking something purly based on who else likes it thats a bit depressing to me :P

each to their own... why do people on here feel the need to slag off other peoples likes... if you like a band good for you if you dont like a band don't buy there stuff or watch them...enough said.....

Ok I'll give some fair critisism here:

Pendulum: Were a great, underground D&B dance band and I thought this was great, but then they went and released bloody In Silco which is a crap album but all the indie kids are now bumming them.

The Prodigy: Used to be my favourite band. Then they turned into a shitty band for indie kids who can't rave properly.

Please note that I don't think all indie music is shit, I love Bloc Party, Kings of Leon before sex on fire (ugh) and others too. But I just think indie and dance has gone down hill from the days when it was all underground and really really exciting bands were propping up. (Pavement, Sebadoh, Gang Of Four etc)

and I think most current bands are only doing it for the money. I mean The Prodigy are blokes in there 40s and should just give up! All there live shows are the same and it's getting boring.

    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.
