Spot on, I was at Leeds and the tent for Faith No More was only half full, but they were up against KOL who got by far the biggest crowd of the weekend, most of which were looking forward to two songs!

Faith No More at Glastonbury would be a different proposition, you only need to compare the crowd for someone like Nick Cave at Glastonbury towards the sparse turn out at T in the Park to see that the corporate festivals are attracting more and more 'pop-kids'.

Last year at Leeds for Faith No More was the final straw for me, I've had enough of it and think I'm attending the wrong festival for me so I'm making my debut at Glastonbury this year.

Could see florence doing the opening set on sunday. you need 2 albums to play in the top 4 slots realistically. *can see this flying back in my face a bit too quickly*

Friday: Kanye West

Saturday: Stereophonics

Sunday: Chemical Brothers

seems pretty likely. Mebby Basement Jaxx / Portishead not Kanye, after having prodigy, massive attack and groove armada in the last 2 years.

Weird, ive seen 3 complete headline slots on the other, 1 in the park and 0 on the pyramid. Going to have to change that this year.

I would absolutely love to see Biffy clyro headline the Other stage, they were amazing in 2008 when they headlined the JP stage but something worrys me that they cant keep the atmosphere on an outdoor stage, i hope im wrong!

As a totally left field suggestion how about metallica. Ok, they're huge but their average audience isn't a glasto goer.

I've heard people say that the other field will hold upwards of 30k which'd be more than big enough for their audience amongst glasto goers.

Stick em against a coldplay or the like and it'd cut it down too.

And there's not so much action down the front for them as other heavy acts. I was down the front row for Leeds 08 and for their manc show this yr and had no issues. Also cause the other field is flat it would be less 'dangerous' than the sloping pyramid stage.

Finally, they said they wanna play before, and they're an awesome live act even if u ain't a fan!

Told u it was a leftfield idea but still I reckon it'd be amazing!!

I understand the whole safety issue but bands like Metallica and Faith No More don't really have circle pits and wall of deaths and are certainly no worse crowds than say bands like the Cribs and Prodigy who play at Glastonbury.

I can understand them not booking the likes of Slipknot or Lamb of God and I know Foo Fighters have been rumoured to play over the last few years and they have much more lively crowds than Metallica and FNM.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
